What is much reading for?

People are enjoying reading books with encouraging flavor. Why reading so much while you do so little? It is like wasting life! Common sense! Problem is that for what one learns from books, not many people puts it into practice in real life! So we may see articles that are encouraging often, again and again. Because it hits the core of the poor habit of general public, most people feel that it does make sense and enjoy reading it, but forget to do the best and put it into real life practice.
Knowing is one thing (1%) and carrying out is another (99%).
I do suggest people to read much. I even strongly suggest people to put it into practice.
Otherwise, you may find just wasting time in reading.
What is life for? What is reading for? To waste time? Waste life? Learning one truth is sufficient to carry out thousands of good act! That is called: there is only one truth, the only truth.
